Giambrone is pleased to announce the nomination of Giorgio Bianco in the renowned Top Legal awards in Italy in the category of Best Emerging Young Lawyer.
Giorgio graduated from the University of Sassari in Sardinia, he then focussed his interest on the courts of the countries bordering the Mediterranean, working mainly on a dissertation on the ENPI CBC project. He speaks Italian, French, English, classical Arabic and Tunisian. Giorgio studied classical Arabic studies in 2009 at the faculty of languages of Sassari. In 2011 he attended the courses organized by Firera and Liuzzo Group - Italian Mediation Centre (CIM) thus becoming a mediator.
In January 2012 the opportunity arose to enable Giorgio to benefit from his linguistic studies with the opening of the Tunis office of the International Law Firm Giambrone. He developed the Tunis office, in terms of expanding the staff but also in supporting the Italian community in North Africa. In 2014 he was appointed head of the office in Tunis and in 2015 he became a senior lawyer in Giambrone.
Giorgio has contributed extensively to the growth of the Tunis office by seeking new markets, strengthening the firm and developing strategies to address the needs of the clients. His experience is geared towards international law and all its various facets. The client base has expanded to incorporate companies and individuals from all over Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, in addition to local Tunisians wishing to invest in Europe. The Tunis office has now gained a large share of the market despite competing against other Italian law firms in this sector.
Giorgio has made considerable progress in understanding and developing the Arab market, which is notoriously complex and politically unstable, at the most difficult time, namely at the Arab spring which impacted on all of North Africa starting with the Revolution jasmine in Tunisia. This was an entirely new market for Italian law firms, one that, for both linguistic and cultural reasons, has neglected for too long. Giorgio Bianco has persevered in this emerging market and has demonstrated his skills in anticipating and interpreting the needs of this new sector and has succeeded in transforming the Tunis office into a hub for the a large section of the Arab world, making it possible for Italian and foreign investors to make an informed and conscious choices as to which business strategies to pursue and develop in such countries.
Giorgio is frequently interviewed by the press and is reported in newspapers and information services, such as ANSA, ADNKRONOS, SETTE - Corriere della Sera, IL FATTO QUOTIDIANO and L'UNIONE SARDA. The tight-knit and competent team led by Giorgio has evolved into capable force which works together to strategically assist the clients to resolve problems by analysing the situation from all possible angles whilst applying an international approach. Giorgio’s leadership capacity and tactical thinking has contributed considerably to the success of the Tunis office.
