Giambrone has successfully issued two separate claims at the High Court against two Investment firms based in Cyprus on behalf of UK based clients
The claims against investment firms relating to their alleged negligence and to a series of breaches in the regulatory duties for services each firm provided. As well as an alleged breach of the Agreement and of the Misrepresentation Act 1967.
Joanna Bailey, an associate in the financial and banking litigation team, commented “each claim amounted to the substantial sum of nearly half a million pounds in value. We have every confidence that the claims will result in the restoration of our clients’ lost funds.”
The highly experienced lawyers in Giambrone’s financial and banking litigation team frequently encounter fraudulent activities involving large sums of money, often where the victims have been pressured into debt in the hope of being able to recover previously “invested” money by further trades. The team has developed successful strategies to restore at least some of the funds that our clients have lost.
