America’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced its intention of pursuing organisations involved in binary options fraud across the globe. The FBI’s Complex Financial Crimes Unit will seek to draw on the relationships that it has forged with law enforcement agencies worldwide to pursue and bring down the fraudulent organisations that prey on innocent victims and leave a trail of destruction in their wake.
Joanna Bailey of the Financial Services, Forex and Binary Options litigation department of Giambrone stated “we welcome the comprehensive root and branch enquiry mounted by the FBI and we will be assisting them in their investigations in any way we can to bring the fraudulent brokers to justice”
Supervisory Special Agent Milan Kosanovich promises a thorough and comprehensive investigation into all aspects of fraud of this nature, including those organisations that assist in the commission of this type of crime, albeit sometimes unwittingly. There is a willingness to use all legal procedures available to bring about the end of this type of crime, including extraditing suspects to face the consequences of their actions.
Giambrone aims to work closely with this investigation and do all we can to support any initiative that will help victims of this type of fraud. We will also pass on all the information we have that may assist in the progress of their investigation.
