Piero Mastrosimone is the Head of Insurance & Personal Injury at the Palermo office.
Piero is Head of the Personal Injury Department at Giambrone. He represents clients on major Italian and international litigation cases using his in-depth experience in personal injury and insurance law.
Piero is responsible for managing compensation cases relating to various types of accident, such as road traffic accidents, marine accidents, skiing accidents, cross-border accidents, accidents at the place of work, accidents occurred during sports and leisure activities, etc. Piero works closely with the litigation department.
His team has obtained compensation on behalf of individuals and families from overseas involved in a wide range of accidents, including road traffic accidents, skiing accidents and maritime disasters (Costa Concordia).
Piero is also responsible for the negotiations between Giambrone, insurance companies, forensics expert and external representatives.
Piero studied at the University of Palermo and University “La Sapienza” in Rome and is registered with the National Board of Personal Injury and Road Accident Experts.
Piero is invited to speak at conferences and courses on a regular basis.
He is bilingual in Italian and English.
