We are currently recruiting for an Arabic-speaking Corporate Lawyer to join our full-service team in Tunis.
Having opened our doors for business in North Africa over 5 years ago, Giambrone has built an enviable reputation in over 6 jurisdictions and we are now recognised as one of the Region's top international law firms to work for.
Historically we have always promoted from within and believe in growing their talent organically however, in a rare turn of events, we are now looking to recruit a Senior Level Lawyer from outside the firm's organisation.
Having successfully won a number of high-profile clients of late, the firm have acknowledged that external expertise may be required and are therefore looking to recruit a specialist Corporate Lawyer for our Tunis office. This is a permanent role and has the potential to offer a very quick route to partnership if you do so desire.
With circa 1-3 years pqe you will have a broad legal background and existing Sharia’a knowledge will really make your application stand out. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to take on a high-profile role which will give you exposure to experts in the field whilst at the same time gaining good quality international corporate and banking experience.
In order to apply you will be required to have full fluency in English and Arabic and have experience drafting in both languages daily and have gained exposure to working with both International and locally based clients
Key Requirements
A strong technical and commercial background
Due to the nature of this hire, only lawyers from top-tier law firm backgrounds will be considered.
Salary is competitive and dependant on PQE level and the seniority of particular role. Where we indicate a band of PQE for a role, this indicates how long we would expect a lawyer to take to gain the level of experience required in an appropriate legal context. It does not preclude applications from those with more or less PQE who can demonstrate that they have acquired the relevant experience.
Closing date - 28 June 2016
Giambrone is an equal opportunities employer and all applications received by the firm will be considered by the firm on the basis of their merit alone and we welcome applications from all suitably qualified individuals regardless of background. All offers of employment will be conditional on the candidate having/securing the right to work in Tunisia and providing the firm with evidence of that right prior to employment commencing.
